Check out possibly the most unexpected (UNEXPECTEDLY AWESOME?) mash-up ever
Listen to Nine Inch Nails on iHeartRadio
Nine Inch Nails are inadvertently helping to bring "Call Me Maybe" back into the spotlight. A producer who goes by the Internet moniker pomDeter has created a mash-up featuring the Carly Rae Jepsen hit and the Trent Reznor-led band's song "Head Like a Hole."
Check it out:
PomDeter was apparently inspired to create the new version - dubbed "Call Me a Hole" -- by a Reddit user who posted an open request asking someone to combine the two tracks under the working title "really bad Friday night."
And while "Call Me Maybe" and "Head Like a Hole" seem like an odd pair at first, they may have been destined for each other. Entertainment Weekly points out that the man who mixed Jepsen's song, Dave Ogilvie, also remixed songs for Nine Inch Nails and co-produced Marilyn Manson's album Antichrist Superstar with Reznor.
