Deputy constable Joe Williams and his wife Laurie were serverly injured in a tollbooth collision on November 15, 2013. While stopping to pay a toll, the Williams were hit by a dump truck going 65 miles an hour.
Laurie is currently in the Shock Trauma ICU at Herman Hospital for her injuries and is expected to be in the hospital for sometime.

This record-setting, "world's largest waterslide" is being erected at Schlitterbahn Kansas City Waterpark, and they're calling it Verruckt (German for insane).
"This new MEG-A-BLASTER speed-slide is going to wow our guests and is going to be a game changer for our industry," Schlitterbahn co-owner Jeff Henry said in a statement. "Our greatest challenge will be to find thrill seekers brave enough to ride."

A sequel to Frank Capra’s iconic 1946 It’s A Wonderful Life is in the works. Variety reports, the film has a planned release date for the 2015 holiday season and is tentatively titled It’s A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story.
Produced by Allen J. Schwalb of Star Partners and Bob Farnsworth of Hummingbird, “The storyline of the new film retains the spirit of the original – every life is important as long as you have friends,” Farnsworth said.
