Back in 2005, 22-year-old named Kellen Roberts in Seattle, Washington passed away.  His mother, Nancy, and his sister, Erin, decided to donate his organs to try to save some lives.

In Minneapolis,  17-year-old Connor Rabinowitz was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that caused his organs to swell and fail.  He needed a heart transplant, or he'd die.

He was matched up with Kellen's heart, and went to Seattle for the transplant.  It was a success.  And while Connor was at the hospital, he met Kellen's family . . . specifically Kellen's sister, Erin.

Connor and Erin kept in touch.  They became closer . . . and in 2011, they officially became a couple.  Connor graduated college in 2012 and moved to Seattle.  Now he and Erin say they just might get engaged soon.

So, assuming that happens, this guy will be married to the sister of his heart donor.  That just might be a first.
