A Kansas City woman who gave to a homeless man was happy to see that he'd give back. Last week Sarah Darling accidentally put her engagement ring along with some spare change in a cup Billy Ray Harris was holding out on the street.
Her rings were bothering her, so she put them in her coin purse where she got them mixed up with her change. Darling recalled, "I was so incredibly upset because, more than just the value of the ring, it had sentimental value."
She returned to the scene the next day and found Harris, who said he had the ring and was happy to return it, saying, "My grandfather was a reverend. He raised me for the time I was six months old and thank the good Lord, it's a blessing, but I do still have some character."
After getting her ring back, Darling once again gave to Harris, but this time it wasn't change and a ring, but every bill she had in her wallet.
