Guests: Stephanie Styles, Kregg Dailey, George Brock
George Brock is the founder of Generations: A Theatre Company and he directs Stephanie Styles and Kregg Dailey in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, by far the best and most enjoyable rock play I’ve seen. It’s outrageous, funny and works as a pointed satire of our political system and our perception of history without being partisan or pandering and that is a neat trick. I saw the show on its opening night (after this recording) and I do not hesitate to call it the best show I’ve seen this year. It is also the most visually spectacular production I’ve seen in a very long time. George Brock and his talented company outdid themselves this year so don’t miss it.
Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson: playing through July 29th in Hammnon Hall on the Rice University campus and tickets are cheap. Go to their website for info:
