People we love sometimes make choices we don’t agree with. It’s hard to watch, and when our opinions go unheard, it can be really difficult to know what to do. We get angry, we walk away, and sometimes walking away is the right thing to do. But other times you need to be supportive and make amends, otherwise, you may be in for a long drive of regret…

I am not quite sure where to begin. My mother passed away last week and I was able to be with her for her final moments. I was so distraught because she elected to stop her cancer therapy and allow nature to take its course. We had fought over that and I didn’t speak to her for nearly a year. Then I received the call that she was going to pass and all I could think about on the drive over was that wasted year!

At the hospital I had your show playing softly for her at the end and you played Martina McBride’s “In My Daughter’s Eyes”. How beautiful that was! And how perfect. Thanks Delilah for comforting me when I truly needed it most, and making that moment easier on my mother. Can you please play that song again for my mom and me? Lydia

Folks, anger is not worth it. It’s not worth holding a grudge, and it’s not worth wasting precious time with people you love. You may not like someone right now, but if you still love that person deep down, make amends. No one is ever promised a tomorrow, just be aware of that before you hold grudges and waste precious time. And thank you, Lydia, for this special reminder today.
