Robert Mondavi's Woodbridge Wines, the official wine partner of Major League Baseball, will offer limited-edition Houston Astros commemorative 1.5 liter bottles of two of its classic wines beginning July 11.

The limited-runs will come as cabernet sauvignon or chardonnay, just in time for MLB All-Star Week, and they'll be available at retailers where Woodbridge wines are sold.

What wine goes with a ball game and ballpark foods?

The cab is said to have hints of cherries, berries, cedar, brown sugar, chocolate, and caramel. It's a medium-bodied wine that will pair with grilled meats and tomato-based pasta dishes.

Woodbridge says the medium-bodied chardonnay features aromas of pear, oak and cinnamon. It should be slightly chilled to pair with appetizers such as grilled vegetables and fresh fruits or with heartier dishes like chicken.
